This version you see here is opened, closed and even locked by the ancient-looking hand-forged key you can see in the detail. The lower decorative panel is incorporated to cover a plain sheet-metal blank which is common on many mass-produced bi-fold inserts; you can order this screen without it if your fireplace doesn't need it.
